True (for most). V1 is the cheapest detector solution availible, check
the resale value! Some people prefer Escort, some dont...

S2 not as good, the range on batteries isn't as good and it doesn't scan
as much or as fast.

Dan...I blown away. You're the only one that got it! My "parody" that
is. The whole point is the rabid nature of the V1 cult.
And you are right. I've had both. The V1 is way over rated.
