Default Driving lights on with parking lights

I own a '04 MSM that has the integrated driving lights (fog lights)
which only come on when the headlights are on. I was wondering if
anyone knows a way to change the wiring so the driving lights can come
on with the parking lights? I'm assuming this wiring is the same for
all Miata's with integrated driving lights. I'd like to use this
option during subdued light or during heavy traffic for visibility for
other cars, rather than using the headlights.

I don't know where you are but it's very likely illegal to do so,
the wiring is designed to meet legal requirements in most places.

Wouldn't the headlights be less blinding to other cars?

I don't think the driving lights should be blinding if properly adjusted.
Really, you want to do this cause it looks cool, right? Hey, don't be shy, I
would do it for the same reason, cool is cool is cool.

Should be fairly easy to do,

Most States REQUIRE that the headlights be on after dark or when visibility
is impared. Fog or driving light use is usually restricted to specific
conditions.

Not if they are really fog lights, I would think.

Fog lights are low and flat / wide focused lights. If they were shining up
in oncoming drivers eyes they would have more of a 'glare from high beams'
type of effect.

Pete, yes, laws are what they are but common sense is much more important /
useable.
