I hear that, on the ground, they handle worse than an F-150 .

How long have you kept a car?
The mustang's mufflers are begining to rust out. The car is almost 8.5
years old. More than likely, I'll be replacing it with an aftermarket cat
back system.

Rust isn't really an issue in AZ and southern CA, AFAIK. It took 11
years for the 1992 Subaru SVX I have to develop a gas tank leak.

I replaced the TW's gas tank a couple years before it was given to me... and with
a junkyward tank at that...

SRT-4 is a turbo setup, isn't it? The cat probably does sufficient quieting
after the turbo.

False, as evidenced by the fact that some people LIKE loud exhausts or
at least fit them to their cars. I agree with others; if this is a real
problem limit dB levels and be done with it. Why does everyone have to
try to invent a complicated solution to a simple problem?
