Dear Llewellyn REALLY SCREWED UP yet again

I voiced my opinion to this person and in a round about way suggested he and all his buddies use their kill file option to eliminate bill from their world, thereby affording them the opportunity to get on with life and leave this group alone. Troll he may be with little to offer. Bill is not much better and like I said, IMO, his benefits do not outweigh the costs of dealing with him. Sorry if I offended you and I mean that honestly. |

On my worst days I haven't come anywhere close to generating the amount of white noise that he has. Anyway, enough of that subject. Can we agree on that? |

Mearly pointed out that 24bit like the others are poster children from auk that could not cut it with professional kooks and had to go searching elsewhere. Doesn't take much googling to figure out who 24bit is and how soundly he got thwacked over in auk. > Troll he may be with little to offer. I do wish Bill would just apply ye olde KF and forget it. > Sorry if I offended you and I mean that honestly. You didn't offend me. I've been around this usenet thingy since the days of fido. It takes a lot to offend me. -- DougW |

I think back on it now and don't understand why ANYbody bothered maintaining a bbs since it was nothing but non stop work with way more than a guys fair share of butt-heads trying to abuse your system. Still, it was fun. I was in the store the other day and picked up a 40gig portable hard drive that fit in the palm of my hand and cost $50. I was remembering that back when I bought a MONSTER (to me) 80 meg hard drive for my board, that that 40 gigger would have cost on the order of $40,000. Why is it that computer hardware has increased in performance by many orders of magnitude, yet costs a fraction of what it did then, computer games can cost many MILLIONS to produce today but cost less than they did 20 years ago (adjusted for inflation), but jeep/automobile technology hasn't seen any truly mind boggling changes yet costs 3-5 times what it did back when I bought my smokin commodore vic-20? |

Yep. I had a fido node and BBS just for grins. Eventually had to give it up as the content was mostly junk and there were too many leeches uploading garbage. > Why is it that computer hardware has increased in performance by many > orders of magnitude, yet costs a fraction of what it did then Supply/demand I guess. That and production costs. Takes a lot of people to make a car but only a few parts houses to build components. -- DougW |

There you go again, the jealous, REALLY JEALOUS, over the fact that
I once own a '37 Lasalle, what a jealous little draft dodging senile coward from Hialeah Navarre, Florida, who's only way to get attention is to make a fool of it's self. With this goat obsession/fetish you have. Like when the other kids laughed at it's attempt to use foul language in elementary school play grounds, but just gibberish. Too senile to remember what he last wrote. You remind me of a little rat dog, like a Mexican Chiwawa with it's senseless barking, me too, me too. And as usually afraid to use your name, address, or even sign your statement as any man would. Again you don't even have the fortitude to sign your lies, what coward! You're not worth any more time when a cut and paste this same paragraph it fits so well! But now worth the time to forward this low life to: and to cox,net to nail 4ax.com (databasix.com) God Bless America, Bill O|||||||O http://www.billhughes.com/ |

No categorisation intended, Tom ! It was more of a "can we *all* please stop
this bickering" plea. Dave "Tom Greening" > wrote in message ... > Dave Milne wrote: > > My mother used to tell me that if I had nothing good to say, it was better > > to keep my mouth shut.
