can any one tell me a source of lash caps?

7mm stems, and anything from 1mm to 2mm thick...(0.040" - 0.080")

thats great thanks,

but what are the thicknesses? is it the "Min Tip" bit> if so those are
all far too thick for me, they are all like 1/4" region, i need
something around 1/16" (1-2mm)

I don't know the thickness. Most likely you will need to adjust that to
suit.
I think "Min Tip" is the length of stem protruding from the split collets.

Cheers Chas...I have emailled them for details....hopefully i can find a set
off the shelf and not have to make some.
