IIRC, an actuator on top of the strut mount changes the settings.

So, if you know what I'm talking about, how about it.

I got a chance to buy BRAND NEW Tokico Illuminas for the price of
Monroe-Matics. But, I don't have the TEMS system. I am assuming the shocks
require some effort to change the settings, and no one cal tell me if the
setting is helpd in place by the actuator or not. Anyone have an idea?

Um, I was going to thank you for that, but I already know how to do that.
The question was, will they work in a Supra without TEMS?

Yes, they should. You just have to adjust manually instead of letting the
car do it for you.
