Any different way of changing oil ?
I just purchased a 1989 Chevrolet s-10 and the oil filter is up on the
drivers side inner fenderwell. Is there any different way to change the oil or is it the same old sequence ? I am figuring it is the same but thought I would ask. Thanks, Iowa883 |

I would think your oil change would stay the same. |

But when they're high up like that, it makes a real mess. My Dodge is like that. Get a plastic drink container just a tad bigger around than your filter of choice. Cut it off about an inch taller than the filter. Now slip it over the filter before you unscrew it from the engine block. That will catch a lot of the oil before it makes a huge mess. -- ..boB 97 H-D FXDWG - Turbocharged!! 01 Dakota Quad Sport, 5.9/Auto/4x4 83 GMC Jimmy (beater) 66 427SC Cobra Replica - Project 66 Mustang coupe - Daily Driver -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
