Default 94 pontiac grandam se problems

Have a 94 pontiac grandam with what says on the engine sfi 3100 on the
exhaust manafold it started this morning but died and would not start
again. would the catalatic converter have something to do with it. Also
was wondering if somone had the firing order for that engine.

What makes you think the converter may be the problem? The firing order is
123456. If your OBD1, you can check for trouble-codes. If the vehicle
cranks good but won't start, I check for spark at the plugs and injector
pulse while engine is being cranked, if I have neither, then I check for a
signal from the crank and cam sensor, where applicable.
