Gotta love passive voice. Evidentally blaming this blind and/or
inattentive cyclist just isn't politically correct. Would it really
be that bad to write "A teenager was seriously hurt Wednesday morning
when he rode his bicycle into the back of a parked trailer in Oro
Valley."?

Agreed. I love it when the news says that "a car went out of
control"... Dang things have a mind of their own. (Which beats the
drivers, sometimes....)
