Great Cars on PBS
Have any of you seen the weekly half-hour program, Great Cars, on your local PBS
station? It can be seen on over 85 Public Television stations across the U.S. http://greatcarstv.com/index.cfm The web site is well done with many links. Among the episodes titles a Volkswagen, Porsche, Meyers Manx, Bonneville (the salt flats, not the Pontiac), Hot Rods, Ferrari, Corvette. In an episode titled Worlds Greatest Cars, they take a look at the fabulous cars that made a difference in quality, styling, power and engineering. A jury of automotive historians, museum curators and journalists decided what were the most significant cars ever created. They narrowed their selection to five cars. The first four we 1.Porsche 2.Volkswagen 3.Citroen 4.Mini Gotta love this program! Are we at RAMVA smart to be keeping our VWs running, or what? Randall |
