Ford owners undoubtedly made sure their cars were sparkling before
pulling up to church on Sunday. And who could forget Rose Royce's
platinum album, Car Wash, titled after their hit song, quick to become
an American classic?

I'm in a tiny minority. Not washing has always been my plan. I grease
up everything with Sta-Plex Red or marine grease and let the weather do
the nasty on it all winter. Yes, it's labor intensive the first time,
but I'm not washing it off with a power washer. Now that I think of it,
what if I went through one of those brush type washers and my vehicle
loaded up their brushes with grease so the next 15 cars at least got a
grease job. Those folks on the end of the line wouldn't be getting many
tips.

Great idea! It would keep the paint from oxidizing in the summer, too.
The windshield could be a problem area though.
