The saga of my 1983 GLX
Still working on the old car with the great 3.8 engine: economical but
fast. It never did run right at idle, but when you drove it, it seemed to run like a bomb. Then the brakes started hissing, and after having fixed the booster, it runs smooth now. Seems like the several mechanics who have done various things with it could have spotted it. No one could get it to settle down. Also had the transmission replaced with a rebuilt, after it lost reverse with a loud bang while backing in a parking lot, and funny thing: the fuel pump started leaking oil like crazy right after they put in the trans... It didn't have pickup when I drove on the new trans, and I blamed the trans job. Now when I pick up the car I'll have to see if my power returned too with the new fuel pump. So far, I've replaced the head gasket, the heater core (2 day job), and the brakes on my $350 car I found in a parking lot for sale. Now all I have to fix on it is the shocks, engine mounts the air conditioner condenser (which died from road debris on the freeway), and the rack and pinion, and figure out how to slide the left side of the rear hatch up about 1/8 an inch so it won't pop open when I hit a bump. I also put $500 worth of Michelin tires on it. Any actual advice for this car? voice from the past |

young humans
are no exception! High quality marinade (Teriyaki and garlic perhaps) 1 inch cubes of tender meat, preferably from the nursery Onions bell peppers Wooden or metal skewers Marinate the meat overnight. Get the grill good and hot while placing meat, vegetables, and fruit such as pineapples or cherries on the skewers. Don?t be afraid to use a variety of meats. Grill to medium rare, serve with garlic cous-cous and sautéed asparagus. Coffee and sherbet for desert then walnuts, cheese, and port. Cigars for the gentlemen (and ladies if they so desire)! Crock-Pot Crack Baby When the quivering, hopelessly addicted crack baby succumbs to death, get him immediately butchered and into the crock-pot, so that any remaining toxins will not be fatal. But don?t cook it too long, because like Blowfish, there is a perfect medium between the poisonous and the stimulating. Though it may not have the same effect on your guests, a whole chicken cooked in this fashion is also mighty tasty. 1 newborn - cocaine addicted, freshly expired, cleaned and butchered Carrots onions leeks celery bell pepper potatoes Salt pepper garlic, etc 4 cups water Cut the meat into natural pieces and brown very well in olive oil, remove, then brown half of the onions, the bell pepper, and celery. When brown, mix everything into the crock-pot, and in 6 to 8 hours you have turned a hopeless tragedy into a heartwarming meal! George?s Bloody Mary Don?t shy away from this one, it is simply a cocktail variation of good old Blood Stew. When a pig is killed, its throat is slit and those present quaff a cup of hot blood to soften the wintry air. From the dawn of man to this day, humans have always drunk blood! American deer hunters are a prime example. 1 pint blood Stolichnaya vodka ice tomato juice lemon lime hot sauce Worcestershire sauce pickled green bean ce |
