That may well be, but why is this something that has just started
occurring after I put new tires on my vehicles?

I don't know. There are too many variables and unknowns
to arrive at a meaningful answer.

I have read this somewhere. Something about the amount of carbon in
the tires and the tires meeting desired sidewall standards.
