96 jetta/golf header pipe leak aba 2L front exhaust repair question?
Is it possible to repair this header pipe? The metal bellows are leaking.
The new replacement part is around $260 bucks.. Has anyone found an reasonable replacement or does anyone repair these? If you are putting on a performance exhaust I will buy your old header.. |

You could weld it, but it probably wont hold. I think you got the two into 1
pipe that attaches to the converter with the bellows at the top. I think you're stuck on this one. Call around for the lowest price and bite the bullet. Unless you weld yourself and wish to practice, you're stuck. http://www.rockauto.com/ has your pipe I believe. Walker PN 52224 for $190.79. Check it out yourself I don't know your motor app. Good luck. "newsviewer" > wrote in message ... > Is it possible to repair this header pipe?
