opinions on this Ebay 75 2.0TS

I've gotten some larger photos from the seller, if someone wants to see
them to give a better opinion.

I can see it isn't immaculate, and the interior needs a good sorting,
but apart from that what do you think?

Spotted that one last week.

I'm sure it's actually re-listed, and I'd want to know the reason why if
that's the case.

Looks good to me, but the niggling doubt is over the mileage - my car
has 40k miles on that one and the interior is near as perfect as you'd
get on a 122k mile old car - ie. no splits or holes in the material,
still a reasonable amount of support in the driver's seat, and carpets
still intact.

I'm still thinking.

Down to a choice of 5.
Either a 75 or a 155
A mid 90's Prelude VTEC 4WS
a Saab 9000 Aero
or go back to basics and have a giggle in my old favourite, a Skoda
Rapid (cheap fun seriously basic, but generally reliable and you can
repair them with gaffer tape and bailing twine).

Getting closer, I'm actually resigned to selling the T16. Just got to
raise a little more capital, and whatever the Saab fetches.

Yep.

After I posted, I had a look at feedback, he had one negative an it was
for the 75 that wasn't as described.

Yeah, the person who bought it last time, and backed out said it looked
like a bent ticket.

I'm not so sure now. Might be an absolute bargain, but it could be the
car from hell.

I'd avoid having looked again.

If there's a bubble of rust on the top of a rear wing, then it's going
to be rotten everywhere under the plastic.

The only place you should expect to see rust on one of those is under
the rear lights, on the corners. Every one I've looked at was going
there - due to the way water runs off the lights.

I'd expect that one to be completely shot under the plastic - mine has
just a tiny bit showing under one of the rear light clusters, but under
the nearside rear arch cover it's totally crumbled away. Fortunately
it's cheap and easy to have that fixed..... the rest, however, is
completely solid.

Definitely a suspect mileage - you'd expect to see a car of that age
showing 100k plus miles........ don't bother with it, there's always
another one.

Yeah. I was leaning that way. Be alright if I had access to a welder,
and somewhere to sit back and take my time, but I don't.
