GM auto transmission ratings
For GM automatic gearboxes, the second number is supposed to be the
vehicle weight rating, but what units? I noticed that Cadillac Catera (rebadged Opel) had a 4L30E gearbox, but the GMH Commodore Calais (very similar car) got 4L60E.
