Default Vert Top Fabric ??

I'll be replacing the top on my Vert here shortly and in my research for a
new top, I'm seeing different types of fabrics offered.

http://www.convertibletopguys.com/cg...at.cgi?cat=388

The (3) different types of fabric CHRYSLER SAILCLOTH, HAARTZ PINPOINT
VINYL, HAARTZ STAYFAST CANVAS

I copied this from the website......

THE ORIGINAL TOPPING WAS PINPOINT VINYL. (IN 1995 FORD SWITCHED TO CHRYSLER
SAILCLOTH VINYL.

MANY RESTORERS ARE USING THIS LATER FABRIC ON RESTORATIONS OF EARLIER CARS.
THERE IS NO DIFFERERENCE IN THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OR WEAR RATINGS.

Anyone have advice as to the wear properties or how hard to keep clean
etc... ??

Since my top is white, I want a top that is easy to keep clean.

Thanks!

-ERIC

Go with CLOTH not vinyl if you can.
It last longer, shows the crud less, doesn't crack and looks much richer
(ie: BMW vs Mustang)
My next toip will likely be black cloth. If I thought I could get a white
one and keep it clean, i might, but I doubt it will happen.
