Default overheating Polo 6n 1.4 '98

Hi everybody,

Got problem with Polo 6n 1.4 '98

I bought it 2 weeks ago, during test drie engine was very hot, and water
boilt. Seller promised to repair it. Next day he told he replaced
hermostat - everything looked ok.

Was ok, but only if car was parked, temperature was 90'C, during driving was
50'C.

I replaced termostat, (probably previous was stucked open) - after replacing
was same as on test drive.

I removed it, and now it's 50'C.

Questions:
What can be reason?
Is it possible it was not correct thermostat which was fitted?
What is opnening and full opening temperature of thermostat for POLO 1998
1.4 (6n)?
Can it be something different then thermostat? - thermostat housing?
What can cause driving without thermostat?

Thx for answers
Regards
Bancrete
