DIY Faux Dashboard Woodgrain
Greetings,
First, let me tell you that my hobby is restoring old radios and I have been involved in developing methods to restore the faux woodgrain, called photofinish, that was on many radios of the 1930s. I think this might be of interest to some of you. Click on this site and see what I have developed up to now; Be sure and click on the Sparkbench site near the bottom of the page. http://pages.cthome.net/ptf/photofin/photoFinish.html This new method will be of more interest to you because it gets rid of the paper. Go to the Antique Radio Forum and look for the subject, Image Transfer For Photofinish, dated 2-13-04. http://antiqueradios.com/cgi-bin/for...=20&LastLogin= If after looking at these webpages, you are seriousy interested in learning more about this and will have some time over the coming months to do some practice pieces, e-mail me.
