Default Passat tailgate gas-filled lift struts

I have been unable to find aftermarket tailgate gas-filled lift struts
for a 2002 Passat wagon. Would like to find a source!

Isn't there a 4 year warranty for such things on a 2002 Passat?

I replaced one on my Golf, and it wasn't too horribly priced at the
dealer... I'm surprsied it broke already tho, on your car.
