Default Can't find transmission test connector

I have a '95 V6 3.0L Lebaron, and the transmission is making a
knocking noise, and braking the car, as I slow down below 10MPH.

Also when I slow down from about 60 to 59, there is a bump (although I
must have gone from 60 to 59 on Sunday and don't remember feeling it.)

Any suggestions what is wrong with it?

I took it to Lee Myles, who was going to check the codes for free, but
they couldn't find the connector. They looked near the fusebox and
all around under the dash, for an unused blue connector (with 6 wires
iirc).

I didn't want to waste their time anymore so I said I'd find it, but I
haven't yet. Now I fell off a motorcycle and bruised or broke 4 or 5
ribs, so instead of hunting more, which hurts I thought I'd ask you
guys!
