66 mustang all disc brake conversion
Hey,
I know i can buy a kit for the front conversion but what about the rear? Would it be easier to just get a 95 rear end w/ discs, chop it and retro fit it to my 66? If anyone has any ideas or advice, it would be much appreciated. If anyone knows where to buy good parts at good prices for the front or rear i would be in your debt. -- Posted using the http://www.autoforumz.com interface, at author's request Articles individually checked for conformance to usenet standards Topic URL: http://www.autoforumz.com/Ford-Musta...ict105240.html Visit Topic URL to contact author (reg. req'd). You can get conversion for the rear as well.
Steel Brake Corporation, Baer Brake Co, etc. Check www.mustangsplus.com, www.npd.com, etc On 27 Feb 2005 18:23:40 -0500, werthless_one <UseLinkToEmail@New & Used Cars Forums - AutoForumz.com> wrote: >Hey, >I know i can buy a kit for the front conversion but what about the >rear? The offset is different between the two rears, so you can't just weld on some brackets and bolt it in. Mustang's Plus is one of the best places to buy that sort of thing, IMO. -- ..boB 1997 HD FXDWG - Turbocharged! 2001 Dodge Dakota QC 5.9/4x4/3.92 1966 Mustang Coupe - Daily Driver 1966 FFR Cobra - Ongoing project |
