Giulietta Transaxle query
Hi, are there any "fixes" for the wonderful 116 gearchange? Or is just a
case of replace synchro after synchro? I'm sooooo close to buying another one it isn't funny.............. Cheers, Craig |

What's the problem? Knackered synchro of sloppy shifting? It would always baulk on a 1st to 2nd shift when cold unless the first change in to 2nd was from 3rd. After which the gear changes up/down the box were fine. I did 55,000 miles in just over two years and no work was needed on the gearbox - the ignition switch, alternator and back brakes were another story. Mike |
