Just have to love the bit at the end.

"Thank you for your longstanding support of Sierra Entertainment's
products."

And thank you for ****ing us over.

Uh, yeah. I posted it.

Are you implying that after 4 1/2 yrs. of running a totally free
multiplayer lobby and 5 or so "Papy" servers, that they are "screwing
us over" by shutting down support and said servers? Is THAT your
complaint?

You're the one who posted, "end of the sim world". WTF is your issue?
Am I supposed to be happy that Sierra killed Papy and if you happen to
buy a copy of NR2003 you can forget about ever playing it MP?

1. the title of the post is sarcasm. Did you REALLY think that Sierra
ceasing support of a bunch of old games they don't sell was beginning
of (sim) armageddon?

2. I ran in an online race tonight and never used the Sierra lobby or
server. How can that be since I "can forget about ever playing MP"?
Guess what? I'll run in another race tomorrow or the next day or next
week and still will not need Sierra's mp capabilities.

3. The point of the original post was simply pointing out something
that I didn't see posted here at RAS. Nothing more, hence the lone
hyperlink to the "news".

Then don't use hyperbole in your subject headers. And yea, I still
think it is a crime that they killed off Papyrus.
