E39 locks on full wheel lock

Sometimes, if I have the wheels on full lock (left or right) the wheels seem
to stick in position, and I have to yank them out - if this normal behaviour
when wheels are on full lock?

What you describe is not normal.

My guess it that you have other issues as well, perhaps noises when going
over speed bumps or coming in and out of a driveway, or odd tire wear.
