Greetings, I am newbie here ...
Here's the thing. My fire dept. is getting Unimog 406, so I need any
tech data such as schemes, service and repair manuals, gear and diff
schemes.

I also have a 406 and ordered workshop manuals from the
above bookshop. I believe the workshop manual in English
or auf Deutsch is just what you're asking for.

There is also a great source of information, the other

I am talking about this one, few pics on :

Needs new clutch cylinder (ex. owner has it and lots of parts), muffler,
tires and lots of little thingies. It is supposed to be very light all
terrain vehicle for fire dept. with Suggestions are welcome !

Yes, quite good I think. Don't know yet details about transmission,
engine is 110 HP diesel. It will be set up as light firefightning heavy
terrain vehichle, with easy removable tank (I'm thinking about 2000
litres?) and water pump.
