Default 325 Clutch Cylinder

88 325is

My clutch has dropped to the floor in about three days. This happened
about 10 years ago and I replaced the master clutch hydralic cylinder
mounted on the clutch pedal.
I did not replace the other end on the transmission.
I also noticed today that the brake fluid is a low. Is it even remotely
possible that this could be the problem? Or is it for sure one or both of
the cylinders? I'm going to have to have the car towed in to the mechanic
if so.

I'm wondering if I add brake fluid to the reservoir and bleed the
cylinders I could get these working again? I'm going to have to look up how
I bled the cylinders the last time.

TIA, George Barrowcliff

If the fluid is low, it went somewhere... Chances are your slave
cylinder is bad (trans end). Look under the bell housing and see if it's
wet.

The slaves go bad more often than the masters. It is a good bet that that
is what your problem is.
