Alfa romeo workshops in eastern europe?
Hello,
I just received word from my workshop here in Norway that my Alfa 156 SW needs a new servco pump and a new exchaust pipe - setting me back roughly 30 000 norwegian, or somewhere around 5000 dollars. I've heard of people taking their cars to workshops in central/eastern europe instead, where prices on both parts and labour are much lower than up here. Have anybody any experience with a good (preferably english-speaking) shop in eastern europe that I could call and compare the prices with? best regards, Trond Hindenes Norway |

Hi Trond I cannot help you personally - I work on classic Alfa cars only, so even don't have some of the solutions needed for modern models. I have a friedn however who works on modern ones. If you would like to visit Poland, you are welcomed to Sure it will be cheaper - we used to repair servo pumps here - most of the cases is only a matter of seals. Exhoust should be replaced however I think (dependently what is wrong). If you want to talk personally about prices visit www.arkuszowa2a.prv.pl or call Jacek on his mobile +48502277790. I can personally recommend the workshop - small but professional, not official Alfa service, but cheaper, faster and better. If you would be affraid, I can be recommended by Alfa Club in Norway - we know each other. I didn't know that this kind of work is that expensive in your country. That price I ask for bodywork and paint on classic Alfa If you would call Jacek, tell him that you got the contact from Szymon @ RS Classic Cars - you will get better price and he will be not surprised that much of a foreign customer call. Regards Szymon www.rs-cc.com |
