Ford, and perhaps some other U.S.auto factories too, used to sell their
last years tool/body dies to Brazil.For instance, 1966 Ford cars were
made in Brazil years after U.S.Ford factories in America stopped making
them.World War Two era Jeeps were still being made in France (Hotchkiss,
something like that, I think) in the 1960s.

it can't there Ford Maverick groups in Brazil. Ford last made the car
for that market in 1979.

Not so much, it's just that they decide to build Ford product from other
markets, sometimes with different running gear etc.

get crushed are like clapped out Tempos Escorts
4 door VW's etc
Nobody will sell a Chevelle or a GTO for scrap...
the internet took care of that.

The first (or one of the first) car factories in Russia was based on
American Ford cars when Ford (of America) licensed Ford cars (Model A
Ford cars) to me manufactured in Russia.Of course there were some
differences between the American made Ford cars and the Russian made
Ford (GAZ?) cars.Back in the 1920s or 1930s FIAT and Mercedes Benz had
factories in New York state.Many years ago, Rolls Royce had a factory in
Springfield, Massachusetts.Also, many, many years ago some French and I
think some other British cars (American Bantam cars?) were licensed
built in America.Back in the late 1930s/early 1940s, Chevrolet and
Harley Davidson had factories in China.
