have called and spoken to 4 people at different Chrysler numbers & they have said the same thing. NO. It is not a law in NC to keep records nor does my contract must show proof of all servicing. I guess the car is getting towed back to my residence at this point. Until I can find someone to charge me less than $6500 + labor and taxes. Thansk for the help everyone!" Is there a lemon law in your state? I would have an attorney make a few calls and write a few letters. I would also place a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Park the car with signs hanging on it how the dealership and Chrysler will not honor the warranty. They hate when the local media gets hold of this. It makes them look bad and they don't like it. And when you put a sign on the window, make sure you hang the oil reciepts up with it. They hate when the > local media gets hold of this. Recurring problem: check this out: http://www.datatown.com/chrysler/ Excerpt from letter - "It’s not the consumers who are "defective" in following maintenance schedules; it’s the 2.7L engine. Ask what changes Chrysler made in the 2.7L engine when it went from a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty in 2002 to a 7 year/70,000 mile warranty in 2003 to prevent the below 70,000 mile failures so common in 1998-2002 models? Ask why Toyota, Volkswagen and yes, Mercedes, owners are given extended warranties for engine oil sludge damage but not 2.7L Chrysler owners?" Good luck! |
