Yet another way in which the Iraq war is hurting America, yet the media
is not giving a lot of attention to it. I wonder why. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...042801082.html |

Keeping Iraq's oil off the market and not to mention make sure it wasn't sold in euros. Now Iran wants to sell oil in euros and look what's happening.... |

223rem wrote: > Aren't you there too? Isnt Blair Bush's lapdog? To our eternal disgrace you have a point. Difference is, it wasn't *our* idea to invade the place, nor was there much public support for it, even at the time. Indeed such support as there was was somewhat reluctant and the whole issue resulted in the largest ever demonstration ever seen in London ( some 1 million or so ppl ) against it. A bit different to the sitution in the USA where the attitude seemed pretty 'gung ho' and distinctly pro-war. Graham |

I don't know anyone who is "'gung ho' and distinctly pro-war" The closest people to that I have encountered are just blind followers of the republican party and just back whatever GWB says without thinking much about it. |

Wouldn't have believed that from the media ( nor from the newsgroups either ). So, you're saying it's a complete misconception ? Graham |
