Model A sump leak
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the correct seal material is used to seal the rear end of the sump on a 1928 model A ford. The Sump has a ½ round cut out that meets a 3/8 grooved section on the main bearing. I would like advice on the best solution on sealing this section. Chris |

The original seal is aluminum -- part number A6335. There is also a neoprene replacement part available -- part number A6335N. Both are available from Mac's at http://www.macsautoparts.com . George Patterson Coffee is only a way of stealing time that should by rights belong to your slightly older self. |
