Envirolution?
I went to a Saturn dealership to get a spare key made and saw poster
about their engine flush process called "Enviro-lution" opr something similiar. Has anyone haerd of this? |

Looks like it could work, but do they also pressure a lubricant in
afterwards to fill the dry voids left behind by pressure/vacuum flushing the engine? As stated by others in another string, 'there is a film left behind that helps protect on intial startup, even after the oil has drained out of the engine.' Paraphrased... This would actually scare me more than the diesel fuel thing because of where it goes, what it uses, and what isn't left behind. If they can market it, then I suppose it isn't wiping out anyone elses engines. But, still leaves me a bit more leary of the eventual or worse case scenario results. Could be a way of gettin' yourself a new engine though, if you stage it right! Not that I'm suggesting anything so terrible, but you know someone will try it. Anyway, the cleansing part sounds great. However, I don't trust such a thorough clean without being able to get some lubrication in there prior to startup. |
