1600 DP Gasket sealer
Hello people,
I have a vacuum leak where my manifolds ontact the heads. Is there any type of sealer that I should apply between the gasket/head/and manifold surfaces? Thanks Eric 68 Bug cab 62 Ghia cab |

I use silicone (RTV) sealant/caulk. You only need a light film. The factory didn't use anything and relied on the metal gasket compressing. But they were working with brand spanking new castings with absolutely flat surfaces. Speedy Jim http://www.nls.net/mp/volks/ |
