The measure of success...
....is not how many like-minded people throw insults at you. It's how
you persevere and achieve goals. I invite all those who disapprove of the Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL) to never visit again. Here's the kicker... Encourage your friends to do the same. Together--with your help--we can stop your homogenous kind from visiting the WWTL ever again. Have a nice day. Cheers, Carl Rogers "Environment first, transportology second" ******** Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL): http://wwtl.info ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Complete coverage of international roads and railways. Since 2000, we have offered several photographs, videos and Virtual 360 captures -- to each viatologist & transportologist. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ******** |

The measure of Success: 'It's ROB ,the Bass player, I heard you have other Rapid photos, could you send them over here ??? Call me ,I'll put you on the guest list for Friday July 3 at the Charlston with FED UP,Your Punk Island Shots were great.' -Rapid Deployment -- ' Photos from Punk IslandYO!S****) The photos look great thank you. Is there any way we could put them on our myspace from the site? Giving you full credit of course.' 'nah. yo those pics you of the band i sing for, yo!s****, are fresh...much respect to you. big up' -- And so on. My photos are on MySpace and Facebook pages of the bands I've shot(I don't copyright anything). I get into shows for free, more often than not, either on the guest list; or I get waved in in a few clubs. I get free beer, food, marihuana, merch(CDs and shirts), and lodging. People address me respectfully. People want me to hang around with them just because. And what did I do to deserve all these accolades? I walked into the East Coast OI! Fest in 2k6 with a point and shoot, and just kept going. Posted the snaps and told the bands to have at em. That's about it. I never told anyone how great I was, or any sort of rubbish. I got on the stage, in the mosh pit, and did what I could to get the best pictures I could with what I had. Whatever appreciation I've gotten has been conferred on me. *That* is success. It bears fruit without me asking for it; based strictly on the effort I put into it. > I invite all those who disapprove of > the Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL) to never visit again. After all, the attraction of the sure as hell isn't the content-that can be had elsewhere in better quality and without the self-aggrandizement. It's morbid curiosity over what Dayglo Abortion you'll foist on us this this time around. And I have to admit, in that, you're a stunning success. Too bad you're all butthurt over it. You could do things differently-and on rare occasion, you have, but it's over all too soon, and it's back to CalBuggery; a crap website, weak ass attempts at satire and insult and an ongoing effort to alienate the very audience you seek. Sucks to be you. You made the choice, though, so don't whine about it. However, I'd try and see if you can get a refund on that Psychology Degree (BS, wasn't it?); because it's pretty obvious that nothing sunk in. -- Otto Yamamoto 'Suffering in the real world is serious business because it can actually kill you, whereas the internet is basically a vacuum of words, numbers and pictures.' |

Unaccustomed as I am to bragging, I have been approached by at least 4 different individuals during the last year regarding using my bridge photos for historical research. You can come up with what you think are the best goals in the world, but, if your audience doesn't take to them, they can hardly be considered a success. How much you get off your taxes for that deduction? What you don't realise though, at least for me; CalBog has gone from an annoyance to an entertainment. Rather like 'Stupid Pet Tricks'. It really doesn't matter if you respond or not; he's just going to keep adding to his legacy as moron; so you might as well have a bit of fun with it. -- Dimitry Megadeath Rockin' ovar Russia with a big ole Atom Bomb! |
