92 Dogde Gr caravan engine noise
The noise sounds like a bad lifter but worse. One suggestion was the fly
wheel is cracked and making the noise. It is always there but changes in intesidy. The transmission has be installed and removed twice in the last month because of a leak. If the cause is the fly wheel could it be related to improper removal install. Is this a common problem with the 3.3. If I continue to drive it what are the consequenses. At 200 k and being a 92 there is not muvh value left any way. Thanks for your input GJF |

It will tap on the block and sound like a rod knocking. |

Sounds just like what my '93 Caravan did just before the tranny died. If
it was the bolts like was suggested, makes a lot of sense to me, I can't tow it with the front tires on the ground. Just made a really bad, fast rattling sound, the stopped dead in it's tracks. |
