wtb: block heater for 93 Accord EX-R
wanted to buy: Honda block heater for a 1993 Accord EX-R.
I can't seem to locate a genuine Honda block heater. My mechanic tells me that aftermarket block heaters may not fit properly and might pop out in extreme cold. Apparently in southern Ontario the aftermarket block heater might work but in northern Saskatchewan (where I'm headed this winter) the plug might pop out. Is this any truth to this? any help would be appreciated, |

Dunno about the reliability of aftermarket block heaters, but
www.slhonda.com has an OEM for 1993 Accord various EX models for about $35 + shipping/handling. Go to parts, put in your car's info, then select accessories, then "accessories-electrical." http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm also has them (also under "accessories." Price is better but s/h may be more. "monkey cow moon" > wrote > wanted to buy: Honda block heater for a 1993 Accord EX-R. > > I can't seem to locate a genuine Honda block heater.
