Default 92 Honda Civic

Help Needed. A/C works at idle and low RPM's but cuts off at high speed.
What would cause this?

I don't know, but let me add my question in with yours. On my 92 Civic,
the A/C seems to run OK for about 10 min or 10 mi after you turn it on,
then cuts off. Come to think of it, perhaps this happens after a few
fast freeway miles. Even though I live in a hot climate, I don't use my
A/C much because of these questions about it, and I am used to going
without because A/C was not operable on my previous old car.

id run it on the freeway until it stops, then pull off and pop the hood.
if you see ice forming on any of the lines, somethings wrong.
