By definition a feminist has no reasoning ability. |

If he was dumb enough to do either (rape or let someone go in exchange for sex) then he should be charged and fired. That's true -- but don't you think it's rather important to determine which one happened? Accepting sex as a bribe is a firing offense, but it's not a 20-to-life offense. Violent rape is. |

At a jail near here we had an incident where a male jailer transferred a female prisoner from one cell to another (one cell block to another). He violated procedure because it requires 2 jailers when moving a female. The next day, the female inmate accused the jailer of rape and gave a vivid, detailed account of the rape - on tape. What she didn't know was that there were cameras along all the hallways that were used in the transfer, and the video showed that nothing happened. The jailer was still fired for violating the rules, but she had several new charges brought against her. -- It is pretty hard to talk about responsibility unless you have exercised it yourself. -- Bill Clinton, 1987 ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

But if it is a "he said - she said", then the lack of any other supporting evidence should cause us to lean toward acquittal. If one is innocent until proven guilty, then the unsupported testimony of a single witness should never be taken as proof. |
