I sternly warn them that my bank/VISA will reverse the charge, and
they relent. That takes care of sleazy companies who try to take
money over the Internet when they would not dare do so
face-to-face. Apparently the customer (the original poster) did
not receive anything for his payment (easy for the company iRacing
to verify), and that is a commonsense reason why VISA would take
the money back, and that is why the company should return the
money without waiting to be forced.
