e28 idle fault

Default e28 idle fault

my e28 528i starts and idles fine from cold, but after driving for about
five or ten mins it wont idle and cuts out. it also cuts out when power
steering is operated at standstill and power is not what it was.have done
cap/arm replaced plugs with champions and reset tappets. any help
appreciated. luke

Ditch the Champions, install the Bosch Silbers that were designed for the
engine.

of how the E28 idle system works, and doesn't.

Maybe it is the O2 sensor (lambda-sonde) . It is located in the front parts of the exhaustor.
Pull the connector off and if the cars goes normal, except of needing much more fuel,
the sensor has to be replaced.
