Locate cutout on Nissan Micra auto trans casing?
Hi
Nissan Micra 1989 1.2 automatic. I need to locate the cut-out on the transmission casing to access the torque converter-to-flywheel bolts. I have tried first by removing the starter motor but there is not enough space to get a spanner in there. Anybody any idea where the cut-out is located and how to remove it? Haynes' manual is not detailed enough. : ( Thanks for any feedback. -- Paul reply-to is valid |

Most Far Eastern imports have a drive plate cover or a flywheel cover access only from under the car. It's between the oil pan and transmission. |

But I don't want to do any damage through ignorance. Has anyone actually found and removed this cover plate? -- Paul McGuinness |
