Default Maintenance reminder reset.....

I have a 2001 A6. Telling me service due in 1000 miles, 800 miles,
etc. I do my own maintenance, so how do I reset the reminder? Do I
need the computer interface gizzy?

yep, I think there is a cheap reset thing you can buy too, but if you own a
modern Audi & service it yourself you should look at getting somthing like
the vag com interface,

My 2000 A4 can be reset via the instrument panel buttons. It tells you how
to do it in the manual supplied with the car. It may be worth looking in
there first.

Hope this helps

Nope, you just need to read your owner's manual.
