Default 2008 US Hondas (imported) not allowed in Canada

For Canadians who want to buy a new 2008 Honda in the U.S.A.. Forget about it
(except for 4 exceptions... see below)!

HONDA / ACURA

*** ADMISSIBLE ***

All vehicles FIFTEEN YEARS OLD OR OLDER

(Importer must be able to prove vehicle is fifteen (15) years old or older
determined by month and year of manufacture)


1992 TO 2007 All models.
2008 Acura TSX
2008 Acura TL
2008 Acura RL
2008 Honda S2000

**** INADMISSIBLE *****

All other 2008 models not listed in the admissible list.

Can you disassemble it in USA and ship as repair parts?

Only if you want to blow forty grand for labor and end up with a car
less reliable than a yugo pulled from the bottom of a lake.

Hey, I did not say you should disassemble ECU to single
transistor and chips - but you could take off the wheels,
battery, sits, remove brake pads and other small things
and ship this incomplete body as a "replacement car body" :-)
In a second box you will have 4 wheels and battery + brake pads.
