It is not as easy as all that. Truckers have rules about
about number of hours they can drive in a given period, and
taking a longer route costs more money for fuel and wear and
tear on the vehicle.

And without good infomration about how long the road will be
closed, it is hard to make a decision on when to take an
alternate route.

the trucker will get all their money from insurance and all they have to do
