hi! thanks for the help mike. today it got warm out. no rain. i decided
to take the van out and try it same problem . cant accelerate hardly at
all. it seems like if i turn the engine off and restart it seems to
come out of it in about 1 min. or so. but, then it came out of it and
am driving down the road and now the transmission is slipping! i drove
this yesterday 170 miles mostly on cruise controll with no problem,
except the former. could this be a seliniod? senser? of some kind? i
can not believe this after a 170 mile test drive! yes, i feel like a
dumb **** but i bought this van yesterday. now this. i have an
appointment with a chevrolet dealer tomarro. any ideas?

One of the hardest things to fix is a problem which is only intermittent.

If it is recurring and reproducible, then a competent mechanic with the
right tools should be able to find out what is going on.

If the engine doesn't run right, the tranny can't operate correctly.

There could be a lot of problems. If the person/dealership which
sold you this bad boy can't help, then they are either incompetent,
disinterested, or just plain crooked.

If you still have the legal option to back out of this deal, you should
consider exercising it. Fix it or take it back.
