Keyless Entry findings
OK, for a lazy guy this was tough, but I got it all figured out.
Those of you who said the door locks should work were right. I shot some WD40 in them, twisted the key back and forth a few times and they broke loose. Door locks now open with the key. I don't have to go to all the effort of memorizing a combination. ;-) (I did write it on a slip of paper which I put in my wallet.) On the auto headlights, when it's dark, both the headlights and tail lights automatically come on. Nirvana for a lazy guy. I won't have to reach out and twist the switch, or need to remember to do it. My wife figured out the "driving lights" by reading the manual more carefully than I did. They aren't "driving lights", they're "fog lamps". That's in my case. In your case, maybe they are "daytime driving lights" because you live in a more civilized country. To turn on the "fog lamps" you turn on the headlights, then flip a switch on the right side of the console which does indeed have a picture that looks like a headlight shining thru fog. -Paul |
