Can anyone recommend a good Independent Alfa Specialist in South Wales,
ideally in Cardiff?

What car?

There's a great place in Swansea for owners of older cars (everything up
to and including the 75), but if it's a later car, I don't know (yet).

I'll watch with interest, though, as I could do with finding one for the
75 down this end of Wales.

Hi guys

I always use Puddifer in Newport. He's not an Alfa specialist 'per se' -
he's actually a very well respected Triumph Stag specialist - but he is a
former Alfetta owner and very sympathetic with both my Alfetta GTV and my
wife's Skoda Octavia. Always an interesting selection of both old and new
cars in his workshop (including a very tasty Gordon Keeble on my last
visit).

Mike

'82 Alfetta GTV (and living in Tir y Berth, so just up the road from Steve)

Thanks for that, it's not too far to go for someone who has a vague clue
with the transaxle cars.

What's his hourly rate like?

As an aside, we should have a South Wales alt.autos.alfa-romeo meet at
some point this year.

If you`re in South Wales how about Les Duffty at Automeo in Bristol ? Very
expert - owns an Alfetta GTV and an SZ himself. Set my 75 up a treat.

Steve (et al)

Sorry for the delay in replying - shift patterns all over the place.

> What's his hourly rate like?

Sorry, don't know off-hand - going down there next week for a pre-MOT
inspection so I can find out then. I've never left feeling ripped off
though - if that's any help.

Yep. I'm up for that.

Mike
