Default OT - Ebay help

I need a little help. The Search on Ebay is not working correctly, or like
it used to, for me. I'd appreciate someone else try it before I e-mail them
that it's an Ebay problem. It could be my problem.

Go to
http://motors.listings.ebay.com/Ford...istingItemList

Fill in the search criteria with the following: 1968 -automatic

Put a check in the "Search title and description" box

Click Search

No error appears, but some of the cars are not 1968 and most of the cars
have automatic transmissions when I do it. Let me know what you find.
Thanks!

I've seen something like that in other eBay searches. It looks like
the '-automatic' filter works if the word 'automatic' appears in the
text description written by the seller.
If it's in the eBay generated Item Specifics frame - the frame that
has mileage, eng, trans, VIN, warranty, title, etc. - is doesn't get
filtered.
....and I have checked the 'search title and description' box.

The non-1968 cars still had 1968 somewhere.

Thanks. I think I'll contact ebay and see if they can improve it. I doubt
it, but if one doesn't throw a rock into the apple, then it is certain one
does not get apples.
