Default 1998 Cherokee XJ Door & Heater problems

Hi,

Just took delivery of a 1998 Cherokee, and mostly its fine, two issues
so far, firstly today one of the rear doors wouldn't shut, I fiddled
with the lock, and it shut fine, now I can't get it open, please help.

Secondly the heater, when I turn the fan to 3 or 4 there is lots of
noise like a fan should make, but very little air coming through in the
front, no matter what position the direction knob it set, my question
is where is all the air going, what might be blocked or broken that I
could look at to see why I get no air through, and how do I get the
temperature to go up, as even on full heat, it's just warm.

Thanks in advance.

Bryan.

Sounds like the blend door is not working. Check all your vacuum lines under
the hood as the heater is vacuum controlled.
